Gemini has helped with writing in Docs and Gmail, designing in Slides, and organizing in Sheets. Now, a new side panel experience is rolling out to Workspace Labs and Gemini for Workspace Alpha users, and will be available to all users next month.

The new side panel will first come to Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive. You can chat with Gemini to summarize, analyze, and generate content using information from your emails and documents without leaving the app. It offers automatic summaries and contextually relevant prompts.
